With a deep commitment to creating a nurturing and engaging environment, our experienced team specializes in identifying and addressing a wide range of challenges, including learning differences, attention issues, emotional struggles, and behavioral concerns.

We believe that every child has unique strengths, and our approach focuses on building those strengths while providing the support they need to overcome obstacles. We partner closely with families, schools, and other caregivers to ensure a comprehensive understanding of each child’s needs. Our collaborative strategies not only empower children but also equip parents with the tools to support their growth at home.

Who would benefit from a Neurodevelopmental or Neuropsychological Assessment?

Neurodevelopmental and neuropsychological assessments explore a child’s learning, cognition, behavior, and social-emotional development. The evaluation assesses your child’s functioning in areas such as IQ, memory, attention and executive functioning, academics, motor coordination, language, and social-emotional functioning. This information will help you and your child’s teacher, therapists, and physician provide treatments and interventions for your child that will meet his or her unique needs.

  • For parents of younger children who have questions about their child’s development, and are wondering whether they need support. Questions may relate to cognition, intelligence, language, motor or social skills (including questions about Autism).

  • For parents who are wondering whether their child has dyslexia, either due to a strong family history, early “red flags” such as problems with pronunciation or rhyming or difficulty learning symbols (colors, shapes, letters) or difficulty learning to read and spell.

  • ADHD Screenings are for parents who are wondering whether their child’s struggles with attention and restlessness indicate an underlying condition like Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, or stem from another emotional, physical or environmental factor.

  • For parents wondering if their child is on the Autism Spectrum. They may be showing signs such as delayed language, difficulty socializing, repetitive behaviors, or restricted interests.

  • For parents of children who are struggling with behavior or emotional issues at home and/or at school. Parents may be wondering if and how their child’s emotional , behavioral, and social difficulties may be influencing one, and their academic progress.

  • For parents wondering whether their child is ready to begin kindergarten. Parents may also be wondering about aspects of their child’s development, but are focused on getting more information before making this educational decision. This screening can be particularly helpful for parents of a child with a summer birthday, as they are often deciding whether to wait another year to enroll their child in school.
